Same thrill – less sting
Low Impact Paintball
The milder alternative with .50 caliber paintballs – for players from the age of 10 and for anyone who wants the adrenaline-filled team experience that paintball offers, but with less sting.
A milder alternative
Tippmann FT-50
We are proud to offer a new alternative to “traditional” .68 caliber paintball – Low Impact Paintball.
Our new equipment – the Tippmann FT-50 – is a slightly lighter paintball marker that uses a smaller .50 caliber paintball but is still semi-automatic, powered by compressed air and works just like our standard equipment.
.50 versus .68 caliber
The difference is in the ball
The big difference is in the ball. A .50 caliber paintball is about 60% smaller in size and 58% lighter than a .68 ball. This results in much lower impact energy, which in turn means that getting hit feels considerably milder.
With an impact energy of close to ⅓ of a standard .68 ball, hits from a .50 caliber ball are perceived as quite gentle.
Low Impact Paintball is a great alternative both for younger players and for those who simply want the adrenaline-filled team experience that paintball offers, but with less sting. Low Impact Paintball – fun for everyone!
Group size
For 6 – 20 players
We currently have 20 sets with FT-50 markers, which means we can take small to medium-sized groups of 6–20 players for Low Impact Paintball.
For larger groups who want a milder sting, we recommend .68 games with the option Juniors under 13 when you enter the age in our booking form. You will then play with regular .68 caliber paintballs, but with the muzzle velocity reduced by 20–25% compared with our standard setting.
